Word Wrangler welcomes Carolyn Stovall to the Festival!

Carolyn says: I am truly a Texan. I have lived in the same small town all of my life. I live in an old Victorian house that was built in 1882. Living here is like stepping back in time to another era. It has always been a dream of mine to write a cookbook. Cooking has always been my hobby. I have always loved cooking, and experimenting with recipes, and making my own recipes. I especially love to do decorative cooking. My specialty is baking. I live life to the fullest, and enjoy every beautiful day that is given to me.

A Texas Gal Cooks is a unique cookbook with basic recipes that go back to the 1800's. A Texas Gal Cooks was chosen by Go Texan to sell at The State Fair of Texas 2015. I live in the town where our Santa became Big Tex at the State Fair of Texas. I have written the original story. I have sections on Making Gift baskets, Gift breads, Cooking with Children, Decorative Pies, Mexican Food, Original Soda Fountain recipes plus many others. A Texas Gal Cooks has many award winning recipes, and has gotten rave reviews. This is a " Must Have Cookbook."
